Of course that may have something to do with the fact that I took another lesson yesterday, during which the pro who’s coaching me completely changed my swing. No threes for me again for awhile, I’m afraid!<\/p>\n
Seaside Golf<\/p>\n

How straight it flew, how long it flew,
\nIt cleared the rutty track
\nAnd soaring disappeared from view
\nBeyond the bunker’s back –
\nA glorious, sailing, bounding drive
\nThat made me glad I was alive<\/p>\n
And down the fairway, far along
\nIt glowed a lonely white;
\nI played an iron sure and strong
\nAnd clipped it out of sight,
\nAnd spite of grassy banks between
\nI knew I’d find it on the green<\/p>\n
And so I did, it lay content
\nTwo paces from the pin;
\nA steady putt and then it went
\nOh, most securely in.
\nThe very turf rejoiced to see
\nThat quite unprecedented three.<\/p>\n
Ah! Seaweed smells from sandy caves
\nAnd thyme and mist in whiffs,
\nIn-coming tide, Atlantic waves
\nSlapping sunny cliffs,
\nLark song and sea sounds in the air
