And read, presumably.<\/p>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t read any of them, so I&#8217;m heartened that many of the commenters on Miss Snark&#8217;s blog, who tend to be an erudite bunch, haven&#8217;t read any of them, either.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, I still qualify for a snob, I think. Off the top of my head, I know I read <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2t9lSBk\">Fielding&#8217;s <em>Tom Jones<\/em><\/a> last year. And <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/39mhe3A\"><em>London, A Biography<\/em>, by Peter Ackroyd<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2QtAeEB\"><em>1491<\/em> by Charles Mann<\/a>. And after I picked up (and read) an amazing 1932 edition of <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2F1LRgT\"><em>A Shropshire Lad<\/em><\/a> in a junky antique co-op, I bought a copy of <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2rGt6MS\"><em>The Name and Nature of Poetry and Other Selected Prose<\/em> by Housman<\/a>, only I didn&#8217;t read all of that.
