Lots of interesting stats about the blogosphere and how spammers are monkeying around with it to make a quick buck.
The piece also mentions Akismet, the software tool I use now to control comment spam.
This is almost entirely over my head – except for one interesting comment – that the “growth” context of blogs is mitigated by the number of “dead” blogs.
Yes, I noticed that too, Bernita — wouldn’t it be funny if the received wisdom about the explosive growth of the blogosphere turned out to be based on a faulty premise! lol
