The drive on route 81 between Binghamton and Syracuse is a stunning one, and you&#039;ll still have the benefit of the view -- what will change is the architecture of the bridge supports but not the view itself -- so that&#039;s the good news.

Another of my favorite bits is the section around Preble. I&#039;ve been through that stretch when the lighting has been fricking fantastic, unfortunately I always have second thoughts about pulling over to take pics with the cars whizzing by at 80 mph. It&#039;s a wonderful bit of NYS.</description>

		<description>Just heard about the Hoxie Gorge bridge going down for good on the news this morning.  I wish you had gotten pics, the search for them is what led me to your website.  One of my most precious cny memories was on that bridge, It was about 6am in early summer and I was driving south to MD, it was a foggy morning but up on the bridge you were just above the cloudline.  The hilltops stuck out above the sea of white like green pieces of heaven.  It was amazingly beautiful.  I&#039;ll miss that bridge.</description>
