My daughter had an idea, this morning: spies should wear shoes that leave backwards footprints.

That way villains wouldn’t be able to tell where the spies are going.

    Dear Little One,

    Your idea was well-used by Arab infiltrators who crossed the Jordan River into Israel to be terrorists in the 1960′s “War of Attrition.” Israeli trackers spotted the trick because the footprints were not right: the heel imopression was not deeper than the two.
    Pretty clever, eh?
