(I agree with the person who wrote, in the comments — paraphrasing slightly here — now we just have to keep Congress from spending it twice.)

    Revenues going up is one thing, but is spending going down or not? If not, then budget deficit is still a huge problem.

    Spending is not going down yet, but I’m hopeful that the growing attention given to pork barrel earmarks will begin to have an effect.
